Sunday Post #76: Hello, November!

Posted November 7, 2021 by Angie in Sunday Post / 1 Comment

Last week started with my most favoritest day of the year, Halloween! I didn’t do anything special. I just watched The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus, and The Phantom of the Opera (I normally watch Sweeney Todd, but it wasn’t on any of our streaming platforms). Then the best time of year came to an end, and I’m thinking about next year! Next Halloween is when I hope to finally get to Tokyo Disneyland, so let’s manifest this!

I also started playing Super Mario Galaxy and OMG! Why didn’t anyone tell me how fun this game is?! My mom had bought me the Super Mario 3D All-Stars game and I had just focused on Super Mario 64 to relive my youth, but I was super interested in Galaxy. Well, I finally decided to load it up and I am hooked! This game is excellent! Definitely my favorite Mario game! I still need to give Sunshine a try. I’ve watched gameplay of that one, and it looks cool, but also like something I’ll suck at. But we’ll see eventually.

More gaming, as I finally got a Nintendo Online account and jumped right into Mario Kart 64 and Donkey Kong Country 3! Nostalgia! But then I quickly hopped back to Animal Crossing to continue exploring the last update. There’s so much to do! Of course, I also got Happy Home Paradise on Thursday and could not stop playing! I only allowed myself to decorate one house Thursday night, but then I spent all day Friday and Saturday playing! It’s sooo good!

I am resuming my Japanese study! I had picked it back up earlier this year, took a break for French, but now I’m back to my main language! It’s also #NonFictionNovember!

  1. I hope you get to Tokyo for next Halloween! I do love Halloween and I’m excited for when Dante is older and gets really into it. That’s how I feel about all the holidays really šŸ˜‚

Hope you have a great week!
