Sunday, I finished watching Cruel Summer and my mind was blown. That very last scene had my jaw nearly on the floor. I had to go rant and rave at my mom (who did not plan on watching it) because I was going to combust keeping all of these feelings inside! Season two is confirmed for next spring! Why so far away?! I’m going to need to commandeer my mom’s TV to watch Freeform, I guess!
Some other things that I watched: Romeo + Juliet (still genius!), The Hustle (pretty bad), 47 Meters Down (boring, then awesome ending), Blast From the Past (still adorable!).
I also finished the Basics and Beyond module of Rosetta Stone! Now I’ve started the Travel module! I feel like I’ve gotten a lot better at speaking and reading in Japanese with this program. I still have a loooooong way to go, but I finally feel like I’m making real progress.
Then I started planning a backup trip for my backup trip, aka Plan C. I have a hotel reserved for Disneyland in December and for Tokyo in December-January. If tourists are allowed into Japan, I’m going to Tokyo and cancelling Disneyland. If not, I’m going to Disneyland. Or am I? Plan C is Disneyland Paris! I haven’t booked a hotel there since none of them allow reservations without payment (but do have free cancellation!). I’m just keeping my eye on different dates in October to spend my birthday there. No matter what, I am getting some Disney magic!
The Darkest Night is the last book on my Goodreads To-Read shelf that I added in 2011 (not counting freebies and books I own)! Now let’s work on clearing out 2012!
