Sunday Post #58: Where did the time go?!

Posted July 4, 2021 by Angie in Sunday Post / 12 Comments

Where did this week even go!? One day I just looked up and it was Wednesday already?! Now it’s Sunday again?! I don’t even know.

I spent the majority of this week on YouTube again. Watching Disney park videos and how to start a YouTube channel videos and how to beat the YouTube algorithm and just random stuff. My brain was simply not cooperating. I have several reviews to finish, which I normally do as soon as I finish the book, or at least before starting the next one. Nope. My brain does what it wants to do, which is not always what I want to do.

Moving right along with my Disney Animation-athon with Doug’s 1st Movie (I don’t think I had seen that one before, but I never really liked Doug), Tarzan, and The Tigger Movie. I wanted to watch more, but like I said, YouTube addiction. And Fear Street Part 1 came out and holy crap. It was surprisingly good and also moderately traumatizing. I did not think it would go there!

I did have a doctor’s appointment last week, and everything is good. I do still need to go get blood tests done, which will probably happen sometime this week. My only real health problem is anemia, which hasn’t been a problem for a little while now, as my blood count had been slowly creeping up. I do hope it’s steady or up, because there was a time when it kept dropping and that was not fun. I’ve been feeling fine, so I think I’m good.

  1. I plan to watch Fear Street with my daughter. They like horror and I thought this would be perfect for us to watch together. I am glad you liked it, I am looking forward to watching it.

I love the Tigger Movie! Are you going to start a youtube channel!!!

Have a great week, Angie! Happy Reading! xx

    • I think they’ll like it! I’m a baby when it comes to horror, but this one was fun. Just one thing toward the end had me like…NOOOOOOO!!! We’re looking forward to the other two!

I am thinking about starting a YouTube channel…next year. I want to document my travels! I think it’ll be fun. So whenever I can go anywhere! I currently have two hotel bookings for December (free cancellation!!!) depending on where I end up going: Disneyland or Tokyo (if Japan opens after the Olympics).

    • I was a huge fan of the books as a kid/tween, so I was super excited! It’s definitely more graphic than the books, but it was fun creepy.

  2. I guess I just live under a rock, because I haven’t heard anything about Fear Street πŸ™ˆ

I hope your blood work comes back good!! I have struggled with anemia too, so I know the struggle.

    Have a great week!

    • I actually hadn’t seen much about it around. I just saw it in the coming soon to Netflix section a couple months ago and got super excited!

Thanks! Anemia can be quite bothersome, but like I said, I’ve been feeling good, so I think it’s alright for now. πŸ™‚

My daughter got Netflix a few months ago so I’ve been watching all kinds of stuff I hadn’t watched before. I’ll have to look for Fear Street.

    • Thanks! I have two types of anemia, so it’ll be a lifelong struggle. But as long as I keep the rest of my health in check, it doesn’t get too bad. πŸ™‚

I really enjoyed Instructions for Dancing, I hope you do as well! I hope you’re able to get your health issues figured out. It’s always stressful to not even know for sure what to do to help. have a good week!

    • Thanks! There really is nothing to “do” about it. I’m suppose to get my blood checked every six months, but…pandemic. I just gotta keep myself generally healthy and everything tends to level out. πŸ™‚
