Sunday Post #56: Pink hair, don’t care!

Posted June 20, 2021 by Angie in Sunday Post / 8 Comments

I got my hair braided last Sunday, so I am pink again! Well, pink, brown, and a little purple. I am a unicorn! It feels so nice to let my scalp breathe, and I don’t have to worry my hair at all (other than keeping Fiona from eating it)! Lazy summer vibes.

California is now open! Not that I actually care. I still just go out to walk my dogs, drop off Poshmark packages at the post office, and grocery shop with my mom. I can actually go into the library now, rather than just curbside pickup. I don’t have anything on hold right now, but it’ll be nice to visit again when I do!

I watched a bunch of movies this week! While getting my hair done, her kid had control of the remote, and he picked Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (my favorite of the four!), The Lion King (yes, I cried again), Monster House (the animation makes me dizzy), and Dog Gone Trouble (super cute!). Then I picked up my Disney Animation-athon during the rest of the week with The Rescuers Down Under, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, A Goofy Movie, Pocahontas, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The ’90s were the best! My mom watched Luca without me, so I’ll have to watch that alone sometime this week.

    • It is extensions! My real hair is red-brown and to my mid-back. She does some wizardry and I suddenly have booty length unicorn hair! It takes FOREVER! This took about nine hours and a ton of braiding hair since I have really thick long hair.

I love the pink hair! So much fun! I’m excited that we can go to our libraries again. I want to go sit and write like I used to. I live alone, but my two dogs do not understand me sitting and not paying any attention to them when I’m home. Hope you have a good week!

  2. LOVE your braids. My current job that wouldn’t fly but someday maybe I’ll be a coder and have a less strict dress code! I’ve always wanted fun color hair.

    • After getting fired last year, I was like PINK HAIR!!! And haven’t looked back. I’ve never been able to have fun hair and I am definitely going to keep doing it. ๐Ÿ˜€
