Sunday Post #52: I made it through.

Posted May 23, 2021 by Angie in Sunday Post / 4 Comments

My week started off terribly. Sunday, I barely got out of bed. I had the worst fever, my entire body was on fire. My skin hurt. I felt like my head was going to explode. I fitfully slept for most of the day. But then I woke up totally fine and refreshed on Monday. Those vaccine side effects are no joke. I’m very sensitive to any medications, but that was the worst. I have never felt so bad in my entire life.

Other than that, it was a very quiet week. The weather turned more spring-like rather than the blazing summer it had been, which was nice. The wind is back though. I wish it would rain!

I did watch The Half of It on Friday and it was fine. It sounded like the exact kind of thing I’d love, but I feel like the love interest wasn’t developed enough. Like, why did everyone want her?!

More amazing books for #AsianReadathon! I grabbed the audio version of Darius the Great is Not Okay to reread before I get to the sequel.

  1. Sorry you had such bad side effects. Worth it, but still sucks. Guessing you had Moderna? The side effects have been worse for that one, it seems.

Hope you’re having a great week!
