Sunday Post #41: It’s a new month!

Posted March 7, 2021 by Angie in Sunday Post / 6 Comments

I actually started the week with a day off! A day off from productivity, including reading. I just played The Sims 3 and watched Disney+ all day. It was fun. Then I got back into working on new products for my Etsy shop (and got another sale!) and scheduling blog posts.

I finished my Classic Disney Animation-athon with The Great Mouse Detective, Oliver and Company, and The Little Mermaid! Then I jumped into the annual A to Z Challenge with Atlantis: Milo’s Return, Bolt, Christopher Robin, Dolphin Reef, Elephant, Ferdinand, and G-Force.

My library partnered with the neighboring county on Overdrive and it is a treasure trove! It’s a little annoying that I can only see what’s currently available (I totally get not being allowed to wait list, but show me the books!), but as you can see, there’s plenty to keep me busy!

Sometimes those unproductive days are the best for us. It’s been ages since I played Sims. We sprung for the new Disney movie, Raya and the Last Dragon, and are planning to watch that today. It looks like you have a great selection of books now to read! I would like to read The Downstairs Girl at some point. I’ve heard great things about The Bright and Breaking Sea. I hope you enjoy all of these! Have a great week, Angie!

    • I’m excited for Raya! But I’m waiting until it’s released on June 4th. Plenty of things to watch in the meantime. 🙂

Oh how weird that you can’t see what’s unavailable. It would help for planning to know lol But it looks like you have tons to read either way, Happy reading!

  3. Somehow I’ve never seen The Great Mouse Detective. I love Disney movies and it looks like my kind of movie but it just never seems to happen. I’m going to have to make an effort to fix that. Have a great week!
