Sunday Post #39: Whistle while you work…

Posted February 21, 2021 by Angie in Sunday Post / 6 Comments

This week was quite productive. I worked on a few of the courses I’m enrolled in and continue to learn a lot. I also started a free trial of Tailwind, which has made Pinterest a lot more fun and a lot less daunting! I’ve really been trying to get into Pinterest, but most days I just forget about it. Being able to upload a ton of pins at once and schedule them is so much easier! I’m still playing around with all of the features and figuring out what’s useful to me, but it’s been good so far. I also joined Covertkit so you all can subscribe to get my posts straight to your inbox plus other fun stuff! There’s a sign up form at the bottom of the post.

I finished one of the larger products for my Etsy shop. It’s a printable book review journal! I’m also working on a prettier digital version for those who prefer digital journals/planners. And some more stickers.

In movie news, I watched Namaste Wahala which was really good! Then I started my Classic Disney Animation-athon with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Dumbo, Bambi, The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, Cinderella, Alice in the Wonderland, and Peter Pan. They make for fun background noise while I work.

  1. I get the Ruby Dixon addiction now – I read Prison Planet Barbarian this week and man was it good! Happy reading 🙂

Pinterest is something I’ve never fully gotten. I use it when I’m looking for a DIY gift, classroom stuff (in the past), and recipes sometimes. But I’ve never posted to it. Good luck figuring it out, sounds like you’re on your way.

    Have a great week!

    • Yes! Her books are all sooo fun! I’m sad that I’m getting close to the end of her catalogue.

I love Pinterest for finding recipes! Everything else is a mystery, but I’m figuring it out. I hope. 😛

I used to love Pinterest and it helped my blog. But in the past year, it has become too complicated for me. I gave up! I hope you have a better luck with it.
