Sunday Post #25: No news is good news?

Posted November 15, 2020 by Angie in Sunday Post / 6 Comments

I’ve got nothing. Did this week even happen? I don’t know. I did nothing. Seriously. I walked the dogs and ate. A lot. A lot of eating, not a lot of dog walking.

Well, I did participate in #Galleyathon, like I said I would. I finished five books! I’m now down to 17 horribly over-due eARCs. One of my goals for 2021 is to get through all of them. I’m not allowing myself to request ARCs until I tackle this backlog from 2013.

Oh! I started preparing for Black Friday! Or probably Thanksgiving, since sales always start early. I haven’t shopped, at all, since last Thanksgiving. I am itching for some new clothes! Which I kind of need anyway, since nothing I bought last year fits anymore. But it’s not like I leave the house that often, but…I want new clothes, okay?! I have a budget, unlike last year. Whatever I have in my Poshmark account is how much I can spend, which at this point is about $700+. Yes, that seems like a lot, but last year I spent, $2,200. No shame.

New Books

Nothing to see here folks! No joke. I got nothing. It’s not like I don’t already have a billion unread books…

Sharing is caring!

  1. I alway do a lot of eating and not a lot of dog walking lol I really need to get out and walk more and eat less. 🙂
I know I made it but I love your blog design! It just fits you so well. 🙂

I have been getting a shoe obsession again. I keep buying now shoes. If I had a job that I had to wear nice clothes I would buy more. I have such a desire to wear nice stuff but no place to wear it. lol

Have a great, Angie! Happy Reading! xx

    • I love it too! You captured what I wanted perfectly! I also found a pair of shoes on ThredUp that matched! In my size! But shopping ban, and now they’re gone. But seriously, they matched exactly. It was bizarre.

Wear nice clothes everywhere! Grocery shopping! Post office! Wherever! I’m “overdressed” everywhere I go, but for me it’s casual. If I show up in a ballgown, then maybe that’s extra. 😛

    • I only shop online and the places I shop have detailed size charts so I always know what size I am! And you don’t need somewhere special to dress up. It’s nice to be dressed nice wherever you go. 🙂

You’re not the only one that didn’t do much, a few days ago, I remained glued to Netflix practically all day… Oh well, we needed the rest, didn’t we 😉
