Kim Reaper is effing adorable! It’s all about a young woman named Kim who is a grim reaper, obviously. It’s a tough job, but somebody has to do it! Although there are some souls Kim is just not willing to collect, which gets her in big trouble with the boss. But it also gets her an awesome girlfriend, Becka, who’s had her eye on Kim for awhile and finally got the courage to talk to her. Only to get dragged into underworld shenanigans!
I absolutely love the art style in Kim Reaper. It’s all very….cute! It’s like goth Lisa Frank. It’s colorful, but slightly muted. Lots of purple and grey. It’s just very visually pleasing and matches the fun, adorable tone of the stories. The characters all have their own unique looks and it’s fun to pop into the underworld from time to time.
The stories are kind of chaotic, but in the best way. Kim is a troublesome reaper, but she’s doing her best. Her relationship with Becka is very new and the two don’t get to spend as much time together as they’d like, since Kim has a weird schedule. Often popping out at the most importune times. Don’t worry, everything always works out by the end!

Part-Time Grim Reaper. Full-Time Cutie!
Like most university students, Kim works a part-time job to make ends meet. Unlike most university students, Kim's job is pretty cool: she's a grim reaper, tasked with guiding souls into the afterlife.
Like most university students, Becka has a super intense crush. Unlike most university students, Becka's crush is on a beautiful gothic angel that frequents the underworld. Of course, she doesn't know that.
Unaware of the ghoulish drama she's about to step into, Becka finally gathers up the courage to ask Kim on a date! But when she falls into a ghostly portal and interrupts Kim at her job, she sets off a chain of events that will pit the two of them against angry cat-dads, vengeful zombies, and perhaps even the underworld itself. But if they work together, they just might make it... and maybe even get a smooch in the bargain.
