New-to-Me Authors I Read in 2020

Posted January 26, 2021 by Angie in Top Ten Tuesday / 6 Comments

I’m constantly trying new authors. As much as I like to binge favorite authors, I also like finding new authors whose books I can binge! Or just new authors in general. Here are my ten favorite new-to-me authors that I read last year and hope to read more from this year!

Tiffany D. Jackson

I read these three of her books last year and all of them were WHOA! Monday’s Not Coming was my favorite (so far). Allegedly is currently in KU if you have it!

J.S. Lee

I read both of her K-Pop Reverse Harem Romance series for Asian Readathon and I was in love! I’ll hopefully read her YA series sometime this year. All of them are in KU!

Ruby Dixon

It’s actually possible that I’ve read this author before since this is a super secret pen name, but who knows?! I started reading Ice Planet Barbarians, which I finished earlier this month. I’ll likely tackle her other series next time I have a KU subscription.

Rebel Carter

I read two of her series last year and both made me happy! They’re just so…smile-inducing. I hope for more good things to come!

Jen Wang

The Prince and the Dressmaker squeezed my little Grinch heart and wouldn’t let go! I need more!

Rilzy Adams

I read three of her novellas last year and enjoyed each of them! She writes short but satisfying sexy stories, all in KU!

Susan Dennard

It took me forever, but I finally read this trilogy and adored it! I guess I need to read her Witchlands series next?

Camryn Garrett

This book was too real. It’s the only book about someone being born with HIV that I’ve ever read. Of course I’m going to need to read her sophomore novel coming out later this year.

Olivia Waite

F/F Historical Romance is totally my jam and I’m so glad my library had this one! I’ll definitely be getting to the sequel this year!

Meara Platt

F/M Historical Romance is also my jam, as I devoured this adorable series about a possibly magical book!

Sharing is caring!

Tiffany D. Jackson is an author that caught my eye last year with Grown! I didn’t get around to reading it but it is still very much on my radar ♥
