Crulden the Ruiner is the most dangerous gladiator in the galaxy.

I’m his clone - equally ugly, equally dangerous, and just as feared. I’m also being held captive, since no one trusts a creature like me to be let loose.

A curvy, determined human named Bee doesn’t think I’m a creature, though. In fact, she thinks I just need a guide. She’s got half the males on this planet eating out of her hand, and she’s confident she can do the same with me.

The managing little female has no idea what she’s in for. I’m not some fool to be led around by my tail. But…the champion in me loves a challenge.

A champion also wants to win a prize. So I tell Bee I’ll go along with her plans if she kisses me…right on my tusk-filled mouth.

I never expected her to say yes…

four-stars

Worse Guy follows another Crulden the Ruiner clone. This time he’s being held on Risda III, as they’re afraid to let him loose within the population until he’s been rehabilitated. In comes Bee. She wants to become a social worker for the human women who are new to the planet to help them adjust and be a mediator for them. But Crulden is her first assignment. She must “reform” him so that he’s fit to live in society, or else. This Crulden isn’t a bad guy at all but he loves to win and refuses to give in to this captors. At least until Bee figures him out and offers him the one thing that he truly wants…her!

Worse Guy was so cute. I loved watching Bee teach Crulden how to take care of himself along with how to live among other people. She really takes the time to get to know him and assess his needs. Of course, there’s some sexual tension and they have to fall in love. The two work together to reach their goals and support each other. There’s no huge drama, which was fine with me, since I was just happy reading about these two. The ending was also very sweet and I wanted more!
