July 2021 in Review

Whoa, where did the month go?! I feel like July went by super quickly and that I got a lot done, but also that I got nothing done. I know that doesn’t really make sense, but what does anymore?!

I read 31 books last month and hit my goal of 300 books for the year! At least I can check off another one of my yearly goals. Now to see if I can make it to 365!

July was the month where I got back on track with studying Japanese. I spent the first half of the month simply obsessing, watching food tour videos on Youtube, adding places to my “To Go” list, and generally manifesting my upcoming trip. Then I decided to be productive and actually learn some Japanese. It’s been going well so far. I’m glad that I hadn’t forgotten everything that I had previously learned. Rosetta Stone has been an interesting new way for me to learn alongside Wani Kani, Youtube, and JapenesePod101.

And that is it! It was a decent reading month, but where are all of the 5-star books hiding?!
