It’s that time of year again! That time when we all promise to read the books we already own, not just the ones that the library has in their ebook collection and in Kindle Unlimited. Or maybe that’s just me? I don’t think so, since #COYER, aka the Clean Out Your eReader Challenge is back!
I started off strong for last year’s challenge, but constant KU trials kept me from reading the books I already had. Although, later in the challenge borrowed books totally counted, but then I didn’t have a trial. Such is life! But this year…THIS YEAR…I shall read my own books! Not exclusively of course, because there are still plenty of 2021 releases that I want to get to.
The first quarter of COYER Seasons is the strictest. This is the time we go old school and follow the original COYER rules. Basically, only ebooks and audiobooks count and they had to have been obtained for free or cheap! No libraries! I have soooo many freebies, that I could never ever even imagine finishing them all. However, there are a ton that I was super excited about, yet never read. Ditto for some that I actually paid for. And let’s not even talk about some of the NetGalley eARCs that I still have from 2013…
Well, I’m going to do my darnedest to read some of those neglected books! I’m not giving myself a goal or a list, because I know I’m going to get distracted and not follow either one. But let’s just say that if I can read at least one, I’m a winner!
