New year, new goals! I couldn’t come up with ten, but here are the bookish goals I have for 2023.
- Read 23 books. I’m kind of sick of crazy number book goals after needing to lower mine multiple times last year, but then making it anyway. Best to just stick small and win early! Plus I’m going to be away for three months.
- Reread a beloved series. I’ve been dying to reread Blackdagger Brotherhood or maybe something else.
- Discover a new beloved series.
- Review at least 50% of the books I read. I’m not too sure about this one, since I sucked at reviewing last year. But I’m also going to be reading less, so it may be attainable.
- Read a book in Japanese. I do plan on buying some books in Japan, so I hope to be able to do this one. A children’s book of course…
What do you want to do in 2023?
A children’s book in Japanese sounds attainable. I should do this too! Though my Japanese is not that great, especially because I’ve been slacking at it lately. Lol. Good luck on all your goals!
I’ve definitely been slacking even as my trip approaches! But I think I can do it…eventually. 😛
Reading a book in Japanese is such a cool goal!

Thanks! A very very very simple childrens’ book, but I think I can do it!
I love that you want to read a book in Japanese! I’ve been learning Welsh, and I’m hoping to read a book in Welsh this year, too. Good luck on your reading goals!

Oooh, that’s awesome! 😀
And so is yours!
Gook luck on your 2023 goals.
Thanks! 🙂
My reviewing was pretty abysmal last year as well. I moved and between packing, cleaning, organizing, unpacking, etc., reviews just totally fell by the wayside. I plan to do better this year, not that that’s saying much. Ha ha. Good luck with all your goals!
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
