April 2021 in Review

Posted May 3, 2021 by Angie in Monthly Recap / 2 Comments

Last month was more of the same. Reading, studying, more reading, sleeping. I did get my first vaccine dose, so that was exciting! April was also #Readathon month! Like always, I was present for the 24 hour readathon, but like the last several I did not make it. But I did last 20 hours, which was an hour over my goal!

I read a total of 36 books, same as in March. I’m on track to hit my stretch goal of 365 books this year! But I’m going to have to step things up if I want to hit my ultimate goal of 500. I just have too many other things to do though, so I’ll be happy to stay on track to 365.

In general, I was super unproductive in April. I had no energy or motivation to do anything. I’m hoping I can get back into a groove in May. I did binge rewatch Reign, but I have a list of things I wanted to get done and that was not on it.

But the most exciting news was that Disneyland opened on the 30th! I’m not planning to go until December, but it was still an exciting day for me.
